Getting to Namur
The best way to get to Namur is by car. There are no buses, no trains, no boats or airplanes.
Directions from Montreal:
About a 2-hour drive north-west of Montreal:
- Take Highway 15-Nord towards Laval/St-Jerome/Mirabel
- Take exit 35 to get on highway 50-Ouest towards Hull/Aeroport Mirabel/Lachute
- Go all the way to the end of the 50. You'll pass Lachute but you don't have to go there - unless you want a Poutine from Labelle's on main street.
- At the end of the 50, turn left at Route du Canton/RTE-148
- Keep going on the 148, you'll pass the following villages: St.Philippe, Grenville, Calumet, Pointe-aux-Chenes, Fassette (there's also a good poutine stand there but leave room for the reception), and finally Montebello.
- Once in Montebello, at the light, take the 323 North towards St-Jovite
- Keep going straight on the 323, you'll go through Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix
- When you get to Namur, there's a flashing light - turn Right on Chemin Boileau.
- The Barn is a few hundred meters up the road. There will be a sign.
It's easier than it sounds and the drive is nice. This is the simplest route. We've mapped it out on Google Maps as well:
